This high scoring coffee from Kenya is grown in the hills of Nyeri, situated North of the capital, Nairobi. The farm is owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Nyeri who have cultivated the land since 1904. As well as coffee, there are tea plantations, livestock as well as afforestation projects.

The farm seeks to work on community impact, employing over 90% of its staff locally, and working on future-proofing the business through diversification and working together with neighbouring farms.

This particular lot is a stand out classic Kenyan coffee scoring a high 88 points. This positions it at the top end of the speciality market and is testament to the work of the producers. The varietals are common to Kenya, as is the style of processing so expect intense fruit sweetness, sparkling acidity and quaffable quality.
