Junior Graphic Designer
Responsible to: Senior Designer
Job Purpose: Working closely with our Senior Designer and wider Marketing Team, you'll support the creation of engaging visual content across digital, print and packaging. You'll have a keen eye for detail, enjoy bringing ideas to life, and be excited to learn, develop and get stuck into a wide variety of creative projects. All while building your skills and experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- > Support the Creative Team in delivering high-quality creative assets across digital, print, packaging and internal communications
- > Help bring the Rave brand to life through thoughtful, engaging and commercially effective design
- > Work collaboratively with colleagues across Marketing, Ecommerce and the wider business to deliver creative projects on time and to a high standard
- > Develop your creative skills through hands-on experience, mentoring and feedback
Design & Brand
- > Create engaging design assets across a wide variety of channels, including digital marketing, coffee packaging, POS, branded merchandise, internal communications and retail spaces
- > Produce artwork that is on-brand, visually engaging and aligned to creative briefs
- > Work with our Senior Designer to prepare production-ready artwork for both digital and print applications
- > Support photography, image editing and simple motion content where required
Creative Quality
- > Ensure all artwork meets Rave's brand guidelines and maintains a consistently high standard
- > Carry out final checks on artwork before production, ensuring layouts, copy and technical specifications are accurate
- >Take pride in the detail, spotting errors and ensuring work is ready for print or publication.
Collaboration & Development
- > Work closely with the Senior Designer to continually develop your skills and confidence

Person Specification – Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- > Qualification in Graphic Design or a related creative discipline (Degree, HND or equivalent)
- > Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- > A portfolio demonstrating creativity, strong layout skills and attention to detail, with confidence proofreading artwork and spotting errors before final sign-off
- > Ability to interpret and work from a creative brief
- > Organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects
- > A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and get stuck in
- > Availability to work from our Cirencester office three or four days per week

Dispatch Assistant
Responsible to: Dispatch Team Leader
Job Purpose: To handle all dispatch activities accurately in line with high quality standards in preparation for dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
-
> Handling all dispatch activities in line with agreed Standard Operating Procedures accurately fulfilling customer orders
> Ensure accuracy of customer labeling ensuring correct checks and controls are adhered to ahead of the daily shipment
> Package and prepare for shipment non coffee periphery products
> Maintain dispatch consumable items in good supply and accessible safely

Production Roaster
Responsible to: Production Roasting Team Leader
Job Purpose: To carry out daily coffee roasting operations in line with production schedules, quality standards and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities

> Perform all opening procedures and roasting equipment start-up systems
> Review daily roasting schedules and prepare production batches accordingly
> Roast coffee to order requirements using approved roasting profiles and procedures
> Monitor roasting quality and ensure consistency throughout production
> Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the roasting department
> Support preventative maintenance and upkeep of roasting equipment
> Weigh and prepare green coffee batches ready for roasting
> Assist with the organisation and management of the green coffee store

Roasting Assistant
Responsible to: Production Roasting Team Leader
Job Purpose: To support the roasting department with daily production activities while developing knowledge and skills within coffee roasting operations.
Working Hours:
The operational hours of Rave are from 6.00am to 9.00pm 7 days a week. The full time working week is 37.5 hours on a 5 over 7 day arrangement, meaning a full time worker would be required to work 5 out of 7 days. You may be required to work any day of the week including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- > Assist with the day-to-day running of the roasting department
- > Support Production Roasters with preparation and production activities
- > Assist with weighing and preparing green coffee batches for roasting
- > Help maintain cleanliness and organisation of the roasting department and green coffee store
- > Support equipment cleaning and basic maintenance procedures
- > Assist with stock movement, deliveries and general operational tasks

Warehouse Operative
Responsible to: Operations Manager
Job Purpose: To handle all Warehouse activities in line with all regulatory, best practice and safety standards in order to support the efficiency of the Roasting, Production and Dispatch deliverables.
Key Responsibilities

> Receiving goods in and carrying out full inspection and unpacking procedures
> Implement and manage accurate inventory control procedures
> Manage stock replenishment and stock movement ready for picking and packing
> Manage stock in line with agreed SOP ensuring good rotation practices
> Handle the management of ‘Green’ product in line with required regulatory requirements for ‘Green’ product
> Identification and investigation of inventory and stock issues through accuracy of stock control and tracking procedures
