This coffee is comprised from smallholders in the areas of Santuario, El Aguila and Entreverdes. By combining lots, the farmers here can access larger customers around the world and thereby access higher prices for their coffees.

A typical washed process is used to remove the coffee cherry skin and fruit pulp from the seed within. This process creates good uniformity and a clean, sweet cup profile that makes it well suited to darker roast styles.

This coffee is purchased through the same supply chain as our El Carmen coffee. Our export partner - Raw Material - are working in Colombia on paying premiums to farmers producing high quality coffees. They invest in training, quality control and empowering female producers.

Ash says...

A versatile coffee with a full roast flavour. A favourite for a flat white.
