Mycotoxin In Coffee

We sent a sample of our Colombia El Carmen away for Mycotoxin testing and it came back with a result of less than 0.1 parts per billion of all tested toxins. This is great news, but technically relates to the specific batch and specific green lot that we sent away. We'll be testing again soon and will publish those results here.

Part of the Red Association Pitalito Group. This coffee is grown on about 660 hectares of land represented by 300 families based in Pitalito who were looking to improve their annual income and quality of their coffee. Through work with our partners Raw Materials and Invercafe, who have handled the drying and finance for the farmers, we are working to provide them with a sustainable supply chain and access to the speciality coffee market. (NB- be careful not to spell as 'Columbia' when writing to a native Colombian, they do not appreciate it!)
