Teresa de Jesús is a traditional coffee producer from Palestina, Huila, who inherited her father’s farm and now works with her son, Linarco. Bringing a fresh approach, Linarco has introduced innovative processing methods to elevate their coffee’s quality.

Of their 32-hectare farm, 7 hectares are dedicated to coffee, where they grow Tabi, Gesha, Caturra, and Pink Bourbon. Teresa attributes their consistent quality to the careful selection of ripe cherries.

Linarco now manages three farms—Betania, Los Cedros, and El Diviso—each with unique microclimates. At Los Cedros, his standout Pink Bourbon undergoes gentle fermentation, highlighting its floral and stone fruit notes. Ripe cherries are sorted by flotation, de-pulped, and fermented for 48 hours, then solar dried over 25 days. After drying, the beans rest for at least 12 days to stabilize before export—producing a vibrant, high-quality coffee that reflects his dedication.
