Our first Nicaraguan coffee in over 4 years! Having suffered political instability when other Latin American countries began embracing speciality practices has meant that fewer high scoring coffees are exported. However, the country is known for its optimal climate, altitude and long standing coffee growing traditions. This particular lot is processed using the washed method, and the coffee is patio dried. The flavour profile is sweet and chocolatey.

It’s always an exciting time of year when the Ethiopian natural coffees start arriving in the roastery. They are renowned for their florals, berry fruit notes and high sweetness. This coffee was roasted at a medium level to best showcase these natural sugars and highlight the complex cocoa note that makes this coffee particularly good as espresso!
This coffee was purchased with an attached premium for the Village Pure Water Project who are building clean water wells in the Bench Sheko community. Since 2021 they have provided 950 families with clean water access.
