Fully Washed

Fully Washed - Soaked for 30-48 hours, pulped and graded in washing channels and again soaked in clean water before being dried on raised African beds

In The Cup

Apricot, Sweet Black Tea, Jasmine

Heavy floral notes dominate the cup with apricot, black tea, honey, bergamot and peach coming through depending on the brew method. As the brew cools we find chocolate and vanilla coming through.

Drying: Dried on raised beds for 12-15 days

Soil: Red brown, fertile and well drained

For years we have showcased Ethiopian coffees from regions outside of the Yirgacheffe umbrella, but we felt it was high time we returned to the region. This is a super floral, sweet and juicy Yirg typical of the region with accented notes of Apricot and sweet black tea supported by chocolate and vanilla as it cools.
